Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption in smbdirect data transfer message handling when processing immediate empty sends. A remote attacker can trigger an immediate empty send to cause a denial of service.
