Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in smb server credit management when processing SMB Direct receive operations. A remote attacker can send network traffic that triggers inconsistent credit accounting to cause a denial of service.
