Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the application.

The vulnerability exists due to cross-site scripting in the failed login attempts logging feature when processing a crafted loginname parameter in a login attempt and later rendering it in the system logs. A remote attacker can inject a malicious script to compromise the application.

User interaction is required when an administrator views the system logs.
