Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in driver_match_device() when matching devices without holding device_lock. A local user can trigger driver binding operations to cause a denial of service.

The issue is related to a race condition involving the driver_override field on affected buses.
