Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information and cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in CIccTagTextDescription::Release() when parsing ICC profile XML text description tags. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted XML or profile data to disclose sensitive information and cause a denial of service.
User interaction is required to open or convert the supplied XML or profile data.
