Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause memory corruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of short pin counts and partial batch accounting in mshv_region_pin when pinning user pages. A local user can trigger the use of partially pinned regions to cause memory corruption.
