Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in tps53679_identify_chip() when handling a zero-length block read from i2c_smbus_read_block_data(). A local user can trigger a zero-length block read to disclose sensitive information.
