Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an invalid pointer dereference in the qixis-fpga gpio driver when initializing mmio regmap handling. A local attacker can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.
