Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a memory leak in usbio_probe() when handling usb device initialization after usb_submit_urb() failure. A local user can trigger a probe path that causes usb_submit_urb() to fail to cause a denial of service.
