Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in dev_energymodel_nl_get_perf_domains_doit() when handling a request with a non-existent perf domain ID. A local user can supply a non-existent perf domain ID to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and cause a denial of service.
