Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in the mtk_ppe ingress device validation logic when processing an ingress device while gmac0 is disabled. A local user can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.
Exploitation requires gmac0 to be disabled.
