Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled resource consumption in the fid parameter handling in the WeGIA endpoint when processing excessively long HTTP GET requests. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request with an excessively long fid parameter and repeated parameters to cause a denial of service.

The issue can lead to elevated latency, timeouts, and read errors during request processing.
