Description
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in rb_read_data_buffer() when validating a possibly broken ring buffer. A local attacker can provide a malformed ring buffer event length to cause a denial of service.
The issue can lead to invalid memory access during boot.
