Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a double free in do_procmap_query() when processing an incorrectly sized buffer for build ID for PROCMAP_QUERY. A local user can provide a specially crafted buffer to cause a denial of service.
