Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper state management in the media iris stop_streaming handling when stopping streaming after the instance has entered an error state. A local user can trigger an error condition and then stop streaming to cause a denial of service.
The issue can leave the firmware in an inconsistent state and prevent proper teardown during cleanup.
