Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in wl1251_tx_packet_cb() when processing firmware completion data. A local user can provide a crafted completion ID to cause a denial of service.
