Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in icc_link_nodes() when probing SM8450 platform interconnects. A local attacker can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.
The issue can lead to a kernel panic during runtime.
