Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the wave5 driver kthread worker cleanup logic when removing the module in polling mode. A local user can trigger module removal in polling mode to cause a denial of service.

The issue occurs when irq is less than 0 and the hrtimer can queue new work during worker destruction, leading to a kernel warning.
