Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to cleartext storage of sensitive information in the TMOS Shell (tmsh) command line history and audit log when executing a tmsh command. A local privileged user can run a tmsh command to disclose sensitive information.

Only systems with BIG-IP DNS provisioned are vulnerable. There is no data plane exposure; this is a control plane issue only.
