Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in struct ublksrv_ctrl_cmd handling when reading command fields from userspace-mapped io_uring_sqe memory. A local user can modify command fields concurrently to cause a denial of service.
