Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release in unix_stream_connect() when handling a connection attempt that triggers prepare_peercred() failure. A local user can trigger the error condition to cause a denial of service.
