Published: May 28, 2026
Linux kernel
Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a memory leak in raid1_run() when handling an error path after thread registration. A local user can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.
The issue occurs if raid1_set_limits() fails after setup_conf() has already registered a thread.
