Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release in dw_i3c_master_i2c_xfers() when handling a failure from pm_runtime_resume_and_get(). A local user can trigger the error path to cause a denial of service.
The issue results in a memory leak in the kernel.
