Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to access unauthorized network destinations.

The vulnerability exists due to server-side request forgery in connector management functionality when processing connector requests. A remote user can configure a connector request that bypasses the configured allowlist to access unauthorized network destinations.

Only deployments that use a non-wildcard xpack.actions.allowedHosts value as an egress control are affected.
