Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in drm/amdgpu/vcn4 message bound check when processing user-supplied messages. A local user can submit a specially crafted message to cause a denial of service.
