Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to stack-based buffer overflow when an input string may be evaluated as a command by the application. A remote unauthenticated attacker can supply specially crafted content, trigger memory corruption and read the stack, cause a segmentation fault in the running application or execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
