Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of end-of-filesystem reads in erofs file-backed mounts when processing I/O requests beyond the end of the filesystem. A local user can trigger reads past the filesystem boundary to disclose sensitive information.
