Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow or wraparound in the morphology operation when processing a user-supplied invalid kernel. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a crafted file or processing crafted input to cause a denial of service.

User interaction is required to process the crafted input.
