Type Confusion in Microsoft Edge - CVE-2026-57975
Published: July 15, 2026
Microsoft Edge
Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to type confusion in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) when processing crafted web content. A remote attacker can create a malicious webpage and induce the user to perform two tap gestures to execute arbitrary code.
User interaction is required, and successful exploitation depends on the victim visiting an attacker-controlled webpage and triggering autofill through two sequential taps.
