Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to external control of file name or path in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) when processing attacker-controlled web content. A remote attacker can host a specially crafted website and convince a user to view it to execute arbitrary code.

Successful exploitation requires crafting deceptive or invisible form elements and the user performing two sequential taps.
