Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access control in WebExtensions when using extension functionality. A remote user can abuse extension functionality to escalate privileges.

Exploitation requires the use of WebExtensions.
