Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to weaken hidden-volume plausible deniability.

The vulnerability exists due to improper data neutralization in the hidden volume quick-format path when creating a file-hosted hidden volume. A remote attacker can create a crafted hidden volume to weaken hidden-volume plausible deniability.

User interaction is required to create the hidden volume, and the issue affects hidden file-hosted volumes larger than 128 MiB that use the no-filesystem or FAT formatting paths.
