Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the "irc_message_split_join" function. A remote attacker can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack on the system.
