Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the victim's browser.
The vulnerability exists due to cross-site scripting in the MCP OAuth flow when opening an authorization URL from an attacker-controlled remote MCP server. A remote attacker can provide a specially crafted authorization URL to execute arbitrary script code in the victim's browser.
User interaction is required when the victim connects to an attacker-controlled remote MCP server.
