Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to take control of any authenticated Sentry user account.

The vulnerability exists due to improper authentication in the SAML SSO process when handling a SAML login flow with an attacker-controlled identity provider and a malicious URL. A remote attacker can trick a user into clicking a crafted link to take control of any authenticated Sentry user account.

This issue affects users accessing the application with browsers that honor SameSite=None cookies, including Firefox, and Chromium-based browsers with third-party cookies enabled.
