Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in the AV1 LEB128 parser when parsing malformed AV1 bitstreams. A remote attacker can supply a crafted AV1 media file or stream to cause a denial of service.
