The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to inefficient algorithmic complexity in read_until_whitespace when parsing a crafted PDF input that lacks whitespace for a long time. A remote attacker can supply a crafted PDF file to cause a denial of service.
