Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in the HTJ2K decoder when parsing a crafted EXR file with an oversized chunk header-length field. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted EXR file to cause a denial of service.
User interaction is required to open or decode the crafted file.
