Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in afs_deliver_cb_init_call_back_state3 in the AFS callback handler when processing CB.InitCallBackState3 requests without an attached server record. A remote attacker can send a crafted callback request to cause a denial of service.
