Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper state management in ath12k_mac_vdev_create() when handling vdev creation error paths. A local user can trigger vdev creation failures to cause a denial of service.
The issue affects cleanup after failures in WMI vdev creation and peer deletion handling, leaving internal ath12k state inconsistent.
