Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in create_sdw_dailinks() when iterating over soc_dais entries. A local attacker can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.

The issue occurs when all allocated soc_dais entries are marked as initialised, causing iteration past the end of the array.
