Information disclosure in Linux kernel - CVE-2026-74290
Published: August 15, 2026
Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote user to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper exposure of sensitive information in the cls_flow classifier when processing class statistics for map mode rules with user-controlled mask, xor, rshift, addend, and divisor values. A remote user can create a tc classifier and observe the resulting classid through class statistics to disclose sensitive information.
Exploitation requires the ability to use a tc classifier in a user or network namespace.
