Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper memory management in axi_dmac_prep_peripheral_dma_vec() in the dma-axi-dmac driver when validating DMA vector addresses and lengths. A local user can trigger the failure path with invalid DMA vector parameters to cause a denial of service.
