Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a deadlock condition in amdxdna_hwctx_sync_debug_bo() and amdxdna_drm_config_hwctx_ioctl() when invoking hardware context operations while the device is suspended. A local user can trigger the affected ioctl or debug buffer synchronization path to cause a denial of service.
