CWE-ID: CWE-125
Exploitation vector: Local access
Exploit availability: No public exploit available

Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in ims_pcu_irq() debug logging when handling a control URB with an actual_length exceeding the input buffer size. A local attacker can trigger the vulnerable debug logging path to disclose sensitive information.

The issue occurs because the debug output reads from the wrong buffer when the interrupt is associated with the control URB.
