CVE-ID: CVE-2026-72009
CWE-ID: CWE-664
Exploitation vector: Local access
Exploit availability: No public exploit available

Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource management in the imx93-blk-ctrl power domain handling for MIPI DSI and CSI when managing shared clock and reset resources. A local user can trigger concurrent use of the DSI and CSI domains to cause a denial of service.

The issue occurs because the two domains share control bits for clock and reset, so one domain may disable a resource while the other remains active.
