Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in memtop_get_page_count() when using a user-controlled level value to access the memtop_pages array. A local user can supply a crafted level value to disclose sensitive information.
The issue involves speculative execution on s390 systems.
