Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to inclusion of functionality from untrusted control sphere in project opening logic when opening an untrusted project with a malicious Python executable. A remote attacker can supply an untrusted project containing a malicious Python executable to execute arbitrary code.

User interaction is required to open an untrusted project.
