Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to disclose sensitive authentication information.

The vulnerability exists due to exposure of sensitive information in the user data export endpoint when processing a self-service data export request. A remote user can request a data export archive to disclose sensitive authentication information.

The exported userdata.json contains the live TOTP shared secret in plaintext, which remains valid until two-factor authentication is reset.
