Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of insufficient privileges in remote shutdown command handling for Accumulo services when issuing a remote shutdown command. A remote user can send a shutdown command to gracefully stop system components to cause a denial of service.
The issue affects the compaction-coordinator, compactor, gc, manager, monitor, tserver, or sserver components.
